Enjoy a night out in our Art Museum drawing with color pencil and have a couple of drinks on us. Nate Henry-Silva will discuss the different types of color pencils that are available, sketching, blending, layering, burnishing, and watercolor effects with pencils.
Nathan Henry-Silva is an interdisciplinary artist who occasionally works at the Museums of Sonoma County on installation projects and teaching art to children in the Art4Kids program. He is also going to exhibit his artwork in our Window Gallery in August. Previously, he taught art classes to children for the Schulz Museum, spent a year after graduation from college teaching in the Schools Uniting Neighborhoods program via Metropolitan Family Services in Portland, Oregon, and worked with The Imagine Bus Project.
