Vineyards to Villages (V2V) was started by members of the Sonoma County wine industry in partnership with Global Partners for Development to bring clean water infrastructure to schools in East Africa. The V2V Wine & Food Safari is an opportunity to eat, drink, and be merry in beautiful wine country, all while addressing the global water crisis that continues to take the lives of children around the world every day.
People who go on Safari get complimentary tastings at wineries across Sonoma County from November 10-12, discounts at local restaurants, hotels, and tour companies, entry into raffles, a keepsake wine glass, access to special weekend events, and more! 100% of all ticket sales go directly to water projects at schools in East Africa, and participating wineries also donate a portion of the sales of every bottle sold over the weekend.
Additional Weekend Events
This year, V2V will also offer a limited number of tickets to additional events throughout the weekend – a Winemaker Dinner at Christopher Creek Winery (Thursday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 pm); a Winemaker Lunch at Fritz Underground Winery (Sunday Nov. 12 at 12:30 pm); and Chocolate Pairings at Pedroncelli Winery (Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2 pm). These tickets are sold separately to cover the winery’s costs.
How do I check in?
Bring your ticket receipt to one of the 4 check-in wineries – Sonoma Portworks (Petaluma); Paradise Ridge Winery (Santa Rosa); Christopher Creek Winery (Healdsburg); or Fritz Underground Winery (Geyserville). You will exchange your receipt for a V2V Safari Pass, restaurant promotion card, and tasting glass.
